Royal Caribbean Begins to Release Opening Deployment Schedule for 2028-2029

Royal Caribbean, the world’s largest cruise line, has begun to release its opening deployment schedule for cruises in 2028-2029.

Opening deployment schedules are when cruise lines open new cruises for bookings. Royal Caribbean releases them a week at a time, with cruises to the same region grouped together.

For instance, they will release all cruises to Alaska one week, sailings to Europe another, etc.

So far, Royal Caribbean has released the first three weeks of its opening deployment schedule for 2028-2029, starting with sailings to Alaska in 2028.

Last year, the schedule was spread out across eight different weeks.

• Week of September 28, 2026 – 2028 Alaska season
• Week of October 12, 2026 – 2028 Europe season (Part 1)
• Week of November 2, 2026 – May 2028 through September 2028 7-night Caribbean cruises
• Coming Soon – Fall 2028 through Winter 2029 cruises

Cruise Fever will have the entirety of Royal Caribbean’s opening deployment schedule for 2028-2029 when it is announced by the cruise line.
