Princess Cruises Adding Sanctuary Collection to Five More Ships

Princess Cruises is adding its popular Sanctuary Collection to five more cruise ships, and it will be on Royal class ships for the first time starting in January 2027.

The Sanctuary Collection is a premium experience from Princess Cruises that offers the highest level of service and amenities to nearly all-inclusive vacations.

Right now, the Sanctuary Collection is only on Princess’ newest Sphere class: Sun Princess and Star Princess. The Sanctuary Collection is a selection of staterooms and suites that come with premium amenities during the cruise.

The amenities included with the Sanctuary Collection are a private sundeck and pool, exclusive dining, private onboard spaces, and personalized service.

Princess Premier is included when guests book a Sanctuary Collection stateroom. This comes with premium unlimited beverages, specialty and casual dining, high-speed Wi-Fi, crew appreciation, complimentary room service, and OceanNow delivery.

The first Royal class ship to receive the Sanctuary Collection will be Royal Princess, starting with the January 4, 2027 sailing. The Sanctuary Collection is now open for bookings on the ship.

Guests who had previously booked one of the staterooms that will be included with the Sanctuary Collection on Royal Princess will receive the additional amenities at no additional cost. This includes the Princess Premier package.

The Sanctuary Club offers a dedicated pool, tranquil lounge areas, and personalized service. The area also has upgraded loungers and shaded cabanas available for an additional cost.

The Sanctuary Restaurant will be available exclusively for Sanctuary guests, and this intimate dining space has menus inspired by the destinations that the cruise line visits. The Sanctuary Restaurant will replace the Reserve Collection Restaurant on Royal Princess.

Gus Antorcha, Princess Cruises president, gave the following statement:

“The Sanctuary Collection has quickly become one of the most distinctive and desirable ways to experience Princess. Expanding Sanctuary Collection across five additional Royal Class ships allows more guests to enjoy the privacy, personalized service, and premium amenities they would expect from an intimate luxury resort, while still having the destinations, entertainment, and choices of a Princess cruise just steps away.”
