When leaving the comforts of home to sail the seven seas, you want to have a bed that is at least as comfortable as the one you left if not a better one. In fact, several of these cruise lines even sell their variety to enjoy back home if you prefer it over your own.
Carnival Cruise Line
The Carnival Comfort bed is one such set of sleep furnishings that you can enjoy onboard and portions ashore with a purchase. The European-made exclusive bedding features an 8-inch spring mattress, hypoallergenic down duvet or polyester and cotton alternative, and cotton blend sheets.
Celebrity Cruises
The premium line offers its Reverie bedding. The top-of-the-line system utilizes an iOS interface to personalize mattress firmness, elevation and even massaging elements. A “zero gravity” setting improves circulation and relieves back tension by slightly raising your feet and head.
Crystal Cruises
For a truly luxurious cabin experience, Crystal offers a Deluxe PURE Stateroom category for a complete hypoallergenic atmosphere. Room features include cleaned surfaces, bacterial-repellant barriers, a clean air-handling unit, air-purification system, high ozone shock treatment, antimicrobial disinfectant, and, of course, microfiber, mono-filament mattresses and pillow covers.
Holland America Line
Suites on the premium line showcase the Mariner’s Dream bed, also available to purchase, in its fleet suites. From Sherwood Bedding Group are mattresses that limit body impressions with shrink-resistant fibers. It also features a 660 LFK innerspring for a firmer experience.
Princess Cruises
Most recently introduced was the Princess Luxury Bed, also available for purchase, in collaboration with board-certified sleep expert Dr. Michael Breus and HGTV designer Candice Olson. Ensuring the best night’s sleep are 2-inch pillow tops and 9-inch single-sided medium-firm mattresses. Sleeping partners are thankfully not disturbed thanks also to pocketed spring construction.
Royal Caribbean International
The Royal Caribbean Bedding Collection can be enjoyed as part of your cruise onboard or once back at home if bought online. Included in the offerings for sale are the line’s mattresses, bedding, pillows and linens, as well as towels and spa robes.
Silversea Cruises
Last but certainly not least are Silversea’s custom-made Pratesi linens that are astoundingly comfortable from the reversible soft or firm mattresses to the 240-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers. There’s also a pillow menu to choose from including chamomile or lavender scents.
