Carnival Cruise Line has launched a new air program called Fly2Fun that will help passengers with air arrangements for their cruises. The program includes a “Book Now-Pay Later” and a Flight Protection program that will fly passengers to the next port if they miss their cruise.
This flexible Fly2Fun program will allow passengers to customize their air reservations choosing any airline, departure city, specific flight schedules, and the cabin class (coach, first, business). There are two different options to choose from including a “Book Now – Pay Later” feature.
Flexible Air – Passengers (their travel agent can do this for them) can book travel on any major airline up to four days before sailing with a “Book Now – Pay Later” feature. The payment for the airline tickets is not due until final payment of the cruise. This option also includes no change fees for any modifications before final payment.
Restricted Air – Tickets are non refundable, and full payment is required at the time of booking. Change fees are based on the terms and conditions of the airline.
Vicky Blanch, Carnival’s director of travel operations, gave the following statement:
“Our new Fly2Fun program is a convenient tool that saves our guests valuable time when booking their flights while offering attractive features like the Flight Protection Program that provides peace of mind knowing we’ll fly them to the next port should they miss their cruise.”
Fly2Fun cannot be booked online and must be booked over the phone. After a cruise is booked, guests can call Carnival at 1-800-CARNIVAL to make the reservations for the airline tickets. Travel agents can make air arrangements for their clients at 1-800-327-5782.
