First Official Star Trek Cruise Announced

The first ever Star Trek cruise is set for January 2017 and promises to “boldly go where no one has gone before”.  The cruise will be hosted by the first Star Trek Captain, William Shatner (aka James T. Kirk), and the trip will be part of Star Trek’s 50th anniversary celebrations.

The cruise will offer unique experiences including:

  • Dramatic performances
  • Comedy shows and concerts by Star Trek actors
  • Intimate speaking engagements with leading scientists, influencers and experts
  • Themed parties
  • Interactive games, screenings, and competitions

The cruise will take place on Norwegian Pearl and sail a 6 night cruise out of Miami, Florida with stops in Cozumel, Mexico; Nassau, Bahamas; and Norwegian’s private island in the Bahamas Great Stirrup Cay.

Other cast members that will join William Shatner will be Jonathan Frakes (Commander Riker), Robert Picardo from Voyager, and James Darren from Deep Space Nine, and John de Lancie and Denise Crosby from Star Trek The Next Generation.
