Celebrity Cruises is raising the daily gratuities that passengers are charged each day. Celebrity is the 3rd cruise line in the past two months to raise gratuities.

Starting June 14, 2016, gratuities on Celebrity Cruises will be as follows:
- Inside, oceanview, and balcony staterooms: $13.50 per person, per day (up from $12.95)
- AquaClass and Concierge-class staterooms: $14 per person, per day (up from $13.45)
- Suites: $17 per person, per day (up from $16.45)
The daily gratuities are split between the stateroom stewards, dining staff, housekeeping, and a few behind the scenes staff members who work to make your cruise a memorable one.
Celebrity Cruises is the third cruise line in the past two months to raise daily gratuities. Carnival Cruise Line announced at the end of April that gratuities were being raised beginning September 1. Royal Caribbean, a sister cruise line to Celebrity, also raised gratuities by $0.55 per day starting on May 1, 2016.
