Princess Cruises is testing a new program called Shore Excursion Best Price Guarantee program. This program will allow passengers to price match shore excursions with third parties before their cruise.
Princess will be testing this new program on select 2016 Europe and Alaska itineraries. Passengers on these itineraries will receive pre-cruise emails and a banner in the Cruise Personalizer letting them know that they are eligible for shore excursion price matching. This is how it will work:
- Shore Excursions much be purchased at least seven days before the sail date.
- If an excursion is found for a lower price, a claim can be submitted by downloading the form and emailing it to [email protected].
- Passengers will be notified within two days if the claim needs the necessary criteria.
- If the claim is good, passengers will receive 110% of the difference in the form of non-refundable credit.
In order to quality, shore excursions must match exactly, including duration, date and time availability, meals, and admission fees where applicable. This includes all third party shore excursion operators where details are unknown until after purchase.
