Living on a cruise ship is something that all cruisers dream about but is it affordable?  The research done by Cruise Deals UK shows that it is $10 (£7) a day cheaper to live on a ship than in the City of London. The study took into consideration the following:

  • Monthly Rent
  • Average Monthly Water Bills
  • Average Monthly Energy Bills
  • Average Monthly Taxes
  • Transportation Costs
  • Average Monthly Food Costs
  • Average Monthly Leisure Activities

When compared to a 120 night around the world cruise that includes a single supplement, you would save close to $1,200 over the course of 120 days by living on a cruise ship.  Not only would you save money, you would get to see the world and visit Australia, Asia, islands in the Caribbean, and other exotic destinations.

In 2016, over 24 million passengers will board a cruise for an incredible vacation.  In many places around the world, it’s now actually cheaper than living at home.
