Carnival Breeze earned a perfect 100 U.S.P.H. (United States Public Health) score earlier this month during an unannounced inspection that took place in Miami, Florida.
Twice a year, cruise ships are given unannounced inspections by the U.S.P.H. To receive a perfect 100 score, a ship much receive perfect marks on 44 different items that are on the Vessel Sanitation Program checklist. The inspections are required for all cruise ships that have an international itinerary calling on a U.S. port. The ships are checked for a number things including galley cleanliness, food storage procedures, food handing and preparation, and water supplies used in spas and pools.

Carnival Breeze is the newest and largest ship in Carnival Cruise Line’s fleet. The 3,690 passenger cruise ship currently sails six and eight night cruises to the Caribbean out of PortMiami. In the spring, Carnival Breeze will re-position to Galveston, Texas to sail week long cruises to the Caribbean, Mexico, Bahamas, and Florida.
