Inside Look at the Construction of 2017’s Hottest New Cruise Ship

Cruise Fever was able to get an inside look at MSC Seaside this past week, the Hottest New Cruise Ship in 2017.  Currently under construction at Fincantieri’s Monfalcone shipyard in Italy, the ship will debut in December and sail week long cruises to the Caribbean from PortMiami. Here is a look at a construction update of the ship.

The indoor/outdoor pool located in the center of the ship will be the main pool on MSC Seaside.

This is the area where the waterpark will be. It will be the most interactive waterpark at sea.

MSC Seaside will be the “Ship that Follows the Sun” and will bring guests closer to the sea than ever better.  The ship will have more deck space per passenger than any other cruise ship in the world. The deck that is currently red will be the super extended balconies. Yes, we want one too! The promenade deck is below that and sticks even further away from the cabins, giving passengers plenty of deck space to enjoy being at sea.

The aft pool will have the longest zip line at sea (the 2 circles above where the TV screen will go).

A look down from the top of the aft condos. There will be another pool located at the bottom.

This will be a glass walkway that extends over the ship and water.

  1. I think the couch that turns into a bunk bed is a great idea . But you need some kind of bar on the top bunk to stop a child from rolling over and falling off.

    • There is a bar that attaches to the bed to keep children from rolling off of it, it’s under the mattress and folds up.
