The Norwegian Escape, Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest and largest cruise ship, will feature the first snow room and the largest thermal suite at sea that will be part of the Mandara Spa spanning two decks.
The Mandara Spa will have 17 heated loungers along with the spa’s hydro-therapy pool, sanarium, salt room, steam room, dry sauna, and whirlpools. With unobstructed views of the ocean, the most innovated Mandara Spa to date will transport passengers into a deep state of relaxation.
The Escape will also feature the Snow Room, the first of its kind for Norwegian Cruise Line. The Snow Room will range from 21-32 degrees Fahrenheit with a light flurry of fluffy snow falling. This room will help strengthen the immune system as well as stimulating blood circulation in the body.
Over 50 signature services will be available in 24 treatment rooms. The full service salon and Barber Shop will also offer kid-friendly services.
The state of the art fitness center will be furnished with the latest in weight training and cardio equipment. All cardio equipment will synch to Apple music devices (iPhones, iPads, iPods) and have a HD screen to navigate playlists or watch television.
There will be two private outdoor lounge spaces, Spice H2O and Vice Beach Club. Spice H2O will be located aft Deck 17 that will have huge TV screen, two hot tubs, and sun loungers. The grotto area will have soothing waterfalls allowing passengers to cool down from the hot Caribbean sun.
The Vibe Beach Club will have a full service bar, large hot tub, chaise loungers, and a soothing water feature.
Norwegian announced last month that the ship will have the largest waterpark at sea and a TMNT themed mini golf course.
The Norwegian Escape is scheduled to be completed in November 2015 and will sail week long cruises to the Eastern Caribbean out of Miami, Florida. At 164,600 gross tons, this 4,200 passenger ship will be the largest ship in Norwegian’s fleet.
