Virgin Voyages currently has four cruise ships on order with their first ship, Scarlet Lady, debuting in the spring of 2020. This adults only cruise line has been creating buzz ever since it was first announce several years ago.
This past week at Seatrade Cruise Global in Miami, Fincantieri shipyard unveiled their ship model for Scarlet Lady.
The model gives us a better look at what the ship offer when she first sets sail. Here are several photos of the model that we hope you enjoy looking at as much as we enjoyed seeing the model at Seatrade.
The front of the top deck will have ample covered seating, perfect for getting out of the sun but still enjoying ocean views as you cruise the Caribbean.
The main pool area on Scarlet Lady.
The running track (The Runway) that will offer the best views on the ship. There are also cabanas lining both sides of the cruise ship. This is where you will find us on sea days.
Overhead view of the Athletic Club outdoor lounge.
On the lower aft section of the ship, there is an area similar to that on MSC Seaside. However, there will not be a pool here. This area allows for amazing wake views that bring you closer to the ocean than other parts of the ship.
The Massive Suites will have huge balconies on top of the bridge on deck 15 .
Scarlet Lady will sail four and five night cruises to the Western Caribbean and Cuba from the Cruise Capital of the World, PortMiami. Cruises are currently open for bookings. View Prices on Cruises on Scarlet Lady
Virgin Voyages is throwing nickel and diming overboard and will include WiFi, tips, and all dining venues in cruise fares. While there won’t be a traditional main dining room or buffet, there will be at least 20 dining options to choose from. Formal nights, you won’t find those either onboard.
There will be a tattoo parlor on the ship and the beds in cabins will convert to loungers during the day.
Scarlet Lady will offer cruises unlike any other cruise ship offered by other cruise lines.
