Royal Caribbean Group has given a new timeline for when their cruise lines will resume sailings.
Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, Azamara, and Silversea Cruises have now canceled all cruises (exception of China sailings) through the end of September.
Royal Caribbean Group posted the following update on their corporate website:
“The health and safety of our guests, crew and the communities we visit is our top priority. As we work with the CDC and others toward this shared goal, Royal Caribbean Group will be extending the suspension of sailings to include those departing on or before September 30, 2020.
We will be reaching out to our guests and travel partners tomorrow to share further details and address any questions or concerns they may have.”
Guests who had a cruise booked on one of these newly canceled cruises have three options to choose from. They can choose a full refund, a 125% Future Cruise Credit, or move their sailing to a qualifying cruise in 2021.
Those who choose the last option will have their cruise fare and promotions protected.
