Royal Caribbean Cancels Sailing and Alters Additional Caribbean Itineraries

Royal Caribbean has announced additional changes to cruise itineraries in the Caribbean due to damage caused by the two hurricanes.

The cruise line has now cancelled the September 30 sailing on Adventure of the Seas out of San Juan. The cruise fare and fees will be 100% refunded to the original form of payment, and Royal Caribbean is offering a 25% future cruise credit, based on the cruise fare, if a new cruise is booked in the next 30 days. Pre-booked shore excursions will also be refunded to your original form of payment.

Changes Made to Future Itineraries:

Given Hurricane Irma’s impact to St. Maarten and St. Thomas, as well as Hurricane Maria’s impact to San Juan, Royal Caribbean is altering the following ports for future sailings until these islands have fully recovered.

As the recovery effort remains fluid and each island is working diligently to get back to normal operations, Royal Caribbean will continue to communicate any port changes approximately four weeks prior to departure.

  3. Is there anyway to get the news station in on this whole Royal Caribbean thing? Royal Caribbean is cheating people out of there money. They have swapped one cruise for another and not willing to compensate for the difference in price. They have changed entire trips and are offering ZERO! !!! Anything, no incentives, no nothing. This needs to be brought to everyone’s attention. They also waited until the day after the deadline to receive a full refund credit to post the changes in trips. This really seems underhanded and fraudulent. Please help.
