PortMiami Will Reopen on Tuesday, September 12

UPDATE: The reopening of PortMiami is temporarily on hold while the port works to remove two sunken sailboats.

PortMiami, the Cruise Capital of the World, has announced that the port will reopen on Tuesday, September 12, 2017.
The port has been closed over the past several days due to Hurricane Irma.  With Miami receiving minimal damage from the storm, the port will reopen to cruise ships on Tuesday.

Carnival Cruise Line has three ships, Carnival Glory, Carnival Vista, and Carnival Victory scheduled to arrive in the morning and sail on adjusted itineraries.

Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Line also have ships arriving on Tuesday and Wednesday. Enchantment of the Seas will sail a three night cruise to the Bahamas on Tuesday.  Norwegian Escape will depart from Cozumel at 5 p.m. this evening and head back to Miami.
