Starting on December 18, 2017, the majority of bookings made on Norwegian Cruise Line must be paid in full 120 days prior to sailing. The cruise line made the announcement for the change at the CruiseWorld conference this week in South Florida.

The current final payment dates for cruises on Norwegian are 75 days for cruises 1-6 days and 90 days for cruises 7+10 days.  All suites and The Haven have final payment dates of 120 days prior to sailing.  The new policy will require final payment dates as follows:

  • Cruises 6 days or less – 90 days
  • Cruises 7+ days, suites and The Haven – 120 days

Other cruise lines (Carnival, Royal Caribbean, MSC)  have final payment dates ranging from 75 days to 90 days prior to sailing.
