The first Carnival Cruise Line ship since Hurricane Dorian passed through the Bahamas will visit Half Moon Cay on Wednesday, September 11, 2019. While the island is owned by Holland America Line, it is also used by sister cruise line Carnival.

Holland America previously stated that minimal damage was done to Half Moon Cay. The cruise line said that the horses and stingrays on the island are doing well after the hurricane.

While there was minor beach erosion, there was no structural damage done to Half Moon Cay.
