Europe’s largest river cruise operator, CroisiEurope, is starting off 2018 with some alluring additions to its French cruise itineraries catalogue.
There is now a new barge canal itinerary along the Petite Seine and the popular Loire Valley itinerary is being extended with a trip to the Châteaux of the Loire Valley and an overnight stay in Paris. Both cruises offer ample opportunity to explore Paris as well as to visit France’s most famous châteaux.
CroisiEurope’s new Châteaux of the Loire Valley program is a 7-day cruise beginning with an overnight at a four-star hotel in Paris. Guests will spend their first full day taking in the extraordinary castles of Château de Chambord and Chenonceau before boarding the MS Loire Princesse in Nantes for the start of the cruise. Excursions include the Loire-Château d’Ussé, the Château d’Azay-le-Rideau, the gardens of the Château de Villandry and guided visits of Nantes, Saint-Nazaire, Angers and Ancenis. Prices start at $2,417* per person with sailings from April to October 2018.
On CroisiEurope’s new barge canal itinerary along the Petite Seine, this 7-day/6-night cruise departs from Paris and travels through Evry, Melun and Saint Mammes. The on-shore excursions are designed to allow guests to delight in a tour of Paris, visit two of France’s most famous châteaux, Fontainebleau and Vaux-le-Vicomte, before embarking on the Champagne Route for wine tastings and wandering the medieval town of Troyes. Prices start at $3,175* per person with departures on October 6, 13, 20 and 27, 2018.
Cruises include all meals served on board and drinks from the bar, excursions listed in the itinerary, travel insurance and port fees.
