Carnival Splendor completed Carnival Cruise Line’s latest ship dry dock and upgrade and is now off to her new homeport in Sydney, Australia.
Carnival Splendor was in dry dock in Singapore from October 30, 2019 through November 24, 2019 where the cruise ship received maintenance and new upgrades. The upgrades included a new waterpark and a variety of new dining experiences tailored to local tastes.
Carnival Splendor will become the newest and largest cruise ship based year-round in Australia.

More than 800,000 Australians have cruised with Carnival since the company launched its Australia program five years ago with year-round sailings of Carnival Spirit. Carnival Legend also operates seasonal departures from Sydney. The arrival of Carnival Splendor to Sydney represents a 66% capacity increase for Carnival Cruise Line in Australia.
Carnival Splendor will now sail a 15 night voyage from Singapore to Sydney. Once the cruise ship arrives in Sydney, the vessel will offer a series of eight to twelve night cruises to the Pacific Islands. A few three to four night cruises will also be offered.
