The longest cruise Carnival Cruise Line has ever offered officially ended when Carnival Splendor arrived in Singapore 24 days after leaving Long Beach, California.
The 24 day cruise on Carnival Splendor featured 17 sea days to go along with port stops in Hawaii, Guam, Malaysia, and Vietnam. The cruise marked the first time that Carnival had visited ports in Vietnam, Malaysia, and Guam on a North American sailing.
This is the first time in Carnival Cruise Line’s 47 year history where they offered a cruise that was three and a half weeks long.
Carnival Splendor will now head into dry dock where the cruise ship will receive routine maintenance and a few upgrades.
After a month in dry dock, the ship will sail a one way sailing to Sydney, Australia. Once the cruise ship arrives at her new homeport in Sydney, the vessel will sail a variety of sailings to New Zealand and Tasmania.
