Carnival’s update will be regarding CLIA’s decision to extend the voluntary pause in cruises until September 15, 2020.

Carnival Cruise Line posted the following message on their social media channels on Friday:

“IMPORTANT INFORMATION, Update from Carnival Cruise Line on Service Pause Extension: We are aware of today’s announcement by the Cruise Lines International Association about the industry’s support of an extension of the voluntary pause in U.S. cruise operations until September 15.  We will be notifying guests and travel agent partners about our own specific plans on Monday.  We appreciate your patience and support.”

Cruise Fever reported yesterday that Carnival Cruise Line has removed all but two sailings from their booking engine through the beginning of October.

Cruise Fever will have the latest on the future of Carnival cruises when the cruise line makes an official statement early next week.
