When Carnival Cruise Line’s first Excel class ship (Mardi Gras) debuts next year, the vessel will feature the cruise line’s new Loft 19.
Loft 19 is a brand new concept for Carnival Cruise Line. This secluded retreat will be located on the cruise ship’s highest deck offering the best views.
Loft 19 will be modeled after the world’s finest resorts with full bar service, a private infinity pool surrounded by sun loungers and spacious cabanas available for rent. The area will have a total of 108 loungers and 12 private cabanas.
Who will have access to Loft 19? Any guests who are staying in a Carnival Excel Suite will have unlimited access to this area. In addition, passengers who are not staying in an Excel Suite will have the opportunity to purchase a cabana or purchase access to this area.
Cabanas are fully stocked with beverages, plush robes and chilled towels, fresh fruit, lunch delivery and dedicated concierge service. The cost to rent cabanas will be as follows:
- Port Days: $50
- Sea Days: $150
- Entire Cruise: $900
A full day of renting a cabana will be from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm. Prices listed above do not include 18% gratuity.
While guests staying in an Excel Suite have unlimited access to this area, cabanas will still come at an extra cost. However, they will receive priority reservations of the cabanas over passengers who are not staying in these suites.
