Carnival Cancels Cruises Due to Cruise Ship Issue

Carnival Cruise Line has canceled three upcoming cruises on one of their cruise ships due to an ongoing issue with the ship’s maximum speed.

Three upcoming sailings on Carnival Vista have been canceled so the cruise ship can be repaired.  Carnival Cruise Line sent out the following message explaining the reasoning for the cancelation of the cruises and compensation that passengers who were booked on one of these cruises will be given.

You can read the letter from Carnival Cruise Line below that relates to the July 6, 13, and 20 sailings on Carnival Vista:

“Carnival Vista has been experiencing an issue affecting its maximum cruising speed. Unfortunately, we will be unable to operate the above voyages, as it is necessary to remove the ship from service to complete the required repairs.

We sincerely apologize for the unanticipated disruption to your vacation plans. We are deeply disappointed that we will not be able to deliver the cruise we had planned for you.
