Best New Cruise Ships Debuting in 2019

In 2019, cruise lines are scheduled to launch 23 new cruise ships into service.  Carnival Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Cruise Line, MSC Cruises, and Viking Cruises are just a few of the cruise lines with new cruise ships coming out next year.

With 23 new cruise ships coming out, here are the best new cruise ships (in no particular order) set to debut in 2019.

Viking Jupiter – Viking Jupiter will be the the sixth ocean cruise ship in Viking Cruises’ fleet. In keeping with Viking tradition, the ship will be nearly identical to the cruise line’s five previous ships. Every stateroom on the adults only ship will have a balcony and cruise fares will include WiFi, drinks during meals, one shore excursion in every port, spa access, and all alternative dining restaurants.  Viking Jupiter will go into service in February. Carnival Panorama – Carnival Cruise Line’s third and final Vista class ship, Carnival Panorama will homeport in Long Beach, California and sail week long cruises to the Mexican Riviera.  The ship is scheduled to debut in December. View Prices on Cruises on Carnival Panorama

Norwegian Encore – Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest mega ship will be jammed packed with activities including a race track, an outdoor laser tag arena, a virtual reality theater, and water parks for adults and kids. Spectrum of the Seas – Royal Caribbean’s first Quantum Ultra class ship, Spectrum of the Seas will redefine vacations as the ship represents a quantum leap forward in ship design and experiences specifically tailored to Chinese guests.  The ship will launch this coming spring and will be based out of Shanghai.

MSC Bellissima – The first of two new cruise ships from MSC Cruises in 2019, MSC Bellissima will be the cruise line’s second Meraviglia class ship.  The ship will spend its maiden season cruising around Europe in the Mediterranean. MSC Bellissima will feature a 315 ft. long promenade lined with restaurants, shops, boutiques, and tranquil spots. The ship will have the longest LED Dome at sea. MSC Bellissima will make her debut in March.

MSC Grandiosa – MSC Cruises is taking their popular Meraviglia class ships and making it even bigger.  As the first of two Meraviglia Plus class ships, the vessel will be the largest in MSC’s growing fleet. The ship will feature new shows from Cirque du Soleil at Sea and begin sailing in to Europe in November.  View Prices on Cruises on MSC Cruises

Celebrity Flora – Celebrity Cruises’ newest expedition ship, Celebrity Flora will offer luxurious all-suite accommodations for sailings around the Galapagos. Celebrity Flora will be one of the most energy efficient ships in its class with cutting edge technology.  The ship will make its debut on May 26, 2019.

Sky Princess – The newest Royal class ship from Princess Cruises, Sky Princess will feature sweeping vistas and the cruise line’s largest balcony at sea. Sky Princess will debut in October 2019.  After a handful of sailings in Europe, the cruise ship will head to Fort Lauderdale and offer seven night cruises to the Eastern and Western Caribbean.

Costa Venezia – Costa Venezia will be Costa Cruises first cruise ship built specifically for the Chinese cruise market. The cruise ship will be named in Trieste, Italy on March 1, 2019 and will make it possible for Chinese guests to experience the uniqueness of Venetian and Italian culture.
