Here is a look at the latest news and updates from Princess Cruises.

Blue Sale

Starting tomorrow, November 6, 2026, Princess Cruises will launch its popular Blue Friday Sale that will run through December 7, 2026.

This sale will have up to $400 in savings on cruises and up to 50% off cruise fares. Third and fourth guests in a cabin can cruise for free on select sailings.

Cruise deposits will also be marked down by 50%. You can view the best deals on cruises on Princess here.

Four New Alaskan Cruises

Princess Cruises has added four additional cruises to Alaska in 2028 on Discovery Princess and Crown Princess that will set sail in April and September.

This revised deployment adds three seven-day cruises and one nine-day Inside Passage sailing roundtrip from Vancouver.

The cruise line said that to accommodate these four new cruises, select Mexico and Pacific Coast voyages will be added, revised, or canceled.

Medallion Shipping Update

Princess Cruises has made a shipping change for guests who have their Medallion shipped to them before their cruise.

The cruise line said that Medallions will begin to ship earlier, with the first order drop moving from approximately 30 days prior to the cruise to 45 days prior to the cruise.

The home delivery cutoff will move from 14 days prior to the cruise to 16 days prior to the cruise.

Princess said that these changes will give guests more time to be notified of any challenges and to place a new order if it is needed. It will also help guests receive their Medallion on time in case of a shipping delay.

2028-2029 Cruises

On November 10, 2026, Princess Cruises will open for booking 2028-2029 sailings to Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific.

Princess Cruises’ 2029 Grand World Odyssey cruise will also open for booking on the same date.

Arrival Groups

Lastly, Princess Cruises will begin sending out communications regarding Arrival Groups for guests sailing from Buenos Aires on November 7, 2026.

The cruise line has been rolling out staggered embarkation times at ports around the world. Arrival groups are selected by guests or assigned by the cruise line and determine what time guests should arrive at their ship and check in on embarkation day. This allows for a smoother embarkation experience and less waiting in lines.

Guests sailing from Buenos Aires will receive an email approximately 30 days prior to their cruise with information about Arrival Groups.

Those who enter their flight information into the app or are staying with a Princess Cruises Plus hotel package will have an arrival time automatically assigned.

Everyone else will be able to manually select their arrival group. If a guest does not choose a time, one will be automatically assigned 24 hours before embarkation.
