Margaritaville Announces New Itineraries to the Caribbean and Latin America

Margaritaville at Sea has announced 30 new itineraries to the Caribbean and Latin America in 2028 that include its first-ever visits to Costa Rica and Panama.

These new itineraries will visit 25 destinations, including two new-to-brand ports of call, Limón, Costa Rica, and Colón, Panama, for Margaritaville at Sea. Islander will visit both ports on new eight-night cruises from Tampa, Florida.

The itineraries also include a call in Grand Cayman and four days at sea, giving guests plenty of time to explore Islander between destinations.

Following its first-ever Mardi Gras visit in 2027, Islander will return to New Orleans for the 2028 celebration with an overnight stay in the Crescent City. Guests will be able to experience the parades, beads, brass bands, and the unmistakable energy of Mardi Gras.

Back for its third year, Islander’s signature Halloween voyage takes a new turn in 2028 with an overnight stay in New Orleans.

In 2028, Margaritaville at Sea will offer the only cruise from Tampa that visits all three ABC islands, Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao. This will give guests on Islander the opportunity to experience the trio on a single cruise.

Beachcomber will expand the variety of cruises from Galveston with new itinerary combinations, including a Mexico trio featuring Cozumel, Progreso and Veracruz.

Islander will channel the ultimate island state of mind on a special five-night sailing during Parrothead Day to Key West and Bimini departing June 25, 2028.

Special cruises will take place over St. Patrick’s Day, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, and the Fourth of July.

Following its 2027 debut from PortMiami and subsequent move to Galveston, Beachcomber will continue expanding the cruise line’s reach in 2028 with an exciting lineup of Caribbean and Latin American destinations.

Christopher Ivy, Chief Executive Officer of Margaritaville at Sea, gave the following statement:

“We’ve built our 2028 lineup around the idea that no two escapes have to look the same. Whether guests want to discover a place they’ve never been, celebrate a holiday at sea, enjoy great music, or simply spend a few days somewhere warmer, this schedule gives them more choices and plenty of reasons to come back and experience something different. These unique itineraries are designed for guests who want to experience the authentic Caribbean and explore beyond it.”

These new 2028 itineraries from Margaritaville at Sea are now open for booking.
