Royal Caribbean Will Have Four Cruise Ships Sailing to Alaska in 2028

Royal Caribbean has announced its 2028 cruises to Alaska, and the world’s largest cruise line will have four ships sailing to the 49th state.

Anthem of the Seas, Ovation of the Seas, Serenade of the Seas, and Voyager of the Seas will offer cruises to Alaska from Seattle, Vancouver, and Seward. Cruises will range from seven-night trips to multi-night Cruisetour land experiences.

These new cruises opened for booking for Crown & Anchor Society members today and will be available to the general public on October 1, 2026.

Royal Caribbean’s 2028 Alaska Season

Anthem of the Seas will sail from both Seward and Vancouver from May through September. These one-way seven-night cruises can be combined with two- to six-night Cruisetours that include adventures to Denali National Park.

Ovation of the Seas will homeport in Seattle and sail seven-night roundtrip cruises between May and September. The cruises will stop in Sitka, Skagway, and Juneau, as well as offer scenic cruising to Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier.

Serenade of the Seas will sail from Vancouver, Canada, on week-long cruises to Alaska.  The sailings will visit Icy Strait Point, Prince Rupert, and Juneau.

Voyager of the Seas will offer seven-night roundtrip cruises from Seattle that visit Sitka, Juneau, Skagway, and Victoria.

Cruisetours

Passengers traveling from Seward, Alaska can enjoy a seamless beginning-to-end journey with Royal Caribbean Group and the Alaska Railroad’s new state-of-the-art terminal.

The facility offers stunning mountain views, an effortless arrival and embarkation process, and convenient access to the neighboring Alaska Railroad station, making it easier than ever for Royal Caribbean cruisers to explore more of Alaska’s breathtaking destinations.

This is the first of Royal Caribbean’s opening deployment schedule for cruises in 2028-2029. The second batch will be released in two weeks for cruises to Europe.
