John Heald Explains Recent Changes by Carnival Cruise Line

Carnival Cruise Line’s Brand Ambassador, John Heald, posted on his Facebook page today about a couple of recent changes made by Carnival.

Heald posted about the changes to clear up misinformation being spread online regarding the cruise line’s Elegant Night, as well as a recent change to Guy’s Burger Joint that may roll out to more ships.

Elegant Night

Carnival Cruise Line will continue to offer Elegant Night on most sailings. However, they have recently decided to switch Elegant Night to White Night on select three- and four-night cruises.

The evening’s program is similar to Elegant Night, with the main difference being that guests are encouraged to wear white instead of more formal attire. The night will be highlighted by the White Hot Deck Party.

Guests who have a cruise booked where White Night will replace Elegant Night will receive an email before their cruise letting them know of the change.

John Heald went on to say that Elegant Night is not going anywhere and will continue to be one of the most popular nights on longer Carnival cruises.

Guy’s Burger Joint

Carnival Cruise Line has extended the hours Guy’s Burger Joint is open on Carnival Conquest, and it is now open later into the evening.

The reason Carnival made this change was that the cruise ship sails three- and four-night cruises to The Bahamas from Miami. Heald stated that guests on short cruises want more casual dining options, and the response has been “fantastic” to this change.

Because of the popular feedback, Carnival Cruise Line is exploring whether they should extend the hours of Guy’s Burger Joint on other Carnival ships that offer short cruises.

Heald went on to say that this is in addition to the Main Dining Room and is not a replacement for it. 

Lobster

Carnival Cruise Line continues to offer lobster in the main dining room on all sailings that are six days or longer.

However, due to sourcing issues, it is not offered on cruises to Alaska, Australia, and Europe.
