Viking Adds Two Unique River Cruises for the Passion Play in 2030

Viking has added two unique river cruises in 2030 that will offer guests the opportunity to experience the world-renowned Passion Play in Oberammergau, Germany.

The Oberammergau Passion Play has been performed every 10 years for the past 400 years. For the 43th Passion Play, Viking will offer a 13-day cruise from Amsterdam and a 12-day sailing from Oberammergau.

This will be the third time that Viking has offered guests the opportunity to visit this cherished event. Since 2010, Viking has been privileged to host guests for the play, and the company is the #1 North American partner of the Passion Play organizers.

The two itineraries offered in 2030 for the Passion Play are:

• Oberammergau, Innsbruck & the Rhine (13 days; Amsterdam to Munich)
• Oberammergau with Salzburg (12 days; Oberammergau to Budapest)

Prices for these two cruises start at $6,999 per person, based on double occupancy.
