Carnival is the most popular cruise line in the world, introducing more travelers to the world of cruise vacations than any other. In the world of big ship cruising, Carnival Cruise Line has been a leader in value for decades. Itineraries ranging from short sailings of just a few days to longer voyage-length travel experiences are both things to love about sailing on Carnival. But what do cruise travelers like most about the line of the Funship? Consider these five things to love about cruising on Carnival.
Guaranteed Fun
We have to like a company that stands behind their product. Carnival Cruise Line does that with a trio of guarantees. Beginning with their Lowest Price Guarantee, Carnival stands behind their everyday value with a 48-hour price assurance. Find a lower advertised price during that time and Carnival not only matches it but gives us 110% of the price difference in onboard credit.
Preparing to sail, cruise travelers are often tempted to look at third-party sources for shore excursions. Carnival has a Best Price Guarantee on those as well. Buy one of their tours in advance then find a lower advertised price elsewhere, 110% of the price difference comes back as onboard credit as well.
OK, so you booked your cruise and are onboard but don’t care for the experience. Carnival’s Great Vacation Guarantee kicks in. Notify guest services that you’re not having a great time within 24 hours of embarkation on any 3-14 day Carnival vacation. If the can’t fix what’s wrong, Carnival will refund 110% of your fare then make arrangements to get you back home, free of charge.
You Know What You’re Going To Get, Every Time
If it’s one thing Carnival Cruise Line is its consistent. Like what they do on your first cruise, odds are it will be very much the same experience on every single sailing after that.
Popular features like Guys Burger Joint featuring custom-crafted burgers by celebrity chef Guy Fieri have Carnival passengers lining up all day. They are always the same too. Odds are travelers will never say “I sure liked that (insert dining feature) better on (some other ship).” The same can be said for poolside fun, entertainment, onboard activities and children’s programming as well.

They Are Easy To Work With
Regardless of how travelers do it, booking a Carnival Funship cruise is easy. Online, the Carnival web site makes comparing and selecting the perfect voyage easy. Calling in to talk to a Carnival Personal Vacation Planner is another way to go as is booking through your personal travel agent.
They don’t stop there either. In addition to credit and debit cards, Carnival is the only cruise line that also accepts PayPal. Want to make paying effortless? Carnival’s new EasyPay plan divides the cost up into three easy payments, automatically charged to your card of preference.
Travel With People Like You
By the time most travelers get around to booking, they have a good idea of what they will experience on board. It is rare to see a traveler on a Carnival ship that is mismatched to the onboard experience. It just does not happen.
Families get a price break on third/fourth guests in the same cabin. Those cabins are set up to handle three or four people as well. Solo travelers don’t have to look far to find others onboard looking to make friends either. Special occasions like weddings, anniversaries and graduations? Carnival’s group department can bring bonus value for groups with as few as five staterooms.
Sail Not Far From Home
The fleet of Carnival ships sail from more easy to access homeports than any other cruise line. Why pay to fly when driving to the port is easier and less expensive? For United States cruise travelers, odds are there is a Carnival homeport within driving distance. Well, except for Kansas maybe. We racked up a good number of Carnival cruises when we lived in the Midwest but talk about value: even with airfare considered, a Carnival cruise was by far the better value for our family of four. Now that’s my idea of fun!

It d been our last five cruises out of New Orleans. Love the Dream!!! Scheduled for Sept next.
I liked Carnival until they did’nt honor their guarantee! We took a cruise in May 2016, which happened to be my birthday! I bought a cruise for myself and my friend! We were supposed to visit Piedro Negro and Cozumel. We didn’t STOP at Cozumel, and the Cozumel part of the trip was never refunded to us! They screwed us! We tried to contact them, but kept running into dead ends! I let them know that we did not have fun and they did nothing!
