Carnival Cruise Line has made a few changes to their deposit and final payment policy and has lowered deposits on many sailings of their sailings.
The new policy went into effect on December 2, 2015. For all sailings starting on April 1, 2016 and later, the deposit changes are as follows:
- 5 day sailings: $150 per person, down from $200 per person
- 8-9 day sailings: $250 per person, down from $300 per person
- All Alaska sailings: $400 per person, up from $350 per person
Final payment will remain to be due 75 day before the cruise (60 days for cruises 5 days and less) with an exception for cruises 10+ days in length and all Alaskan cruises. Final payment for all Alaskan and 10+ day sailings will now be due 90 days before the cruise.
All sailings that are not included above have remained at the same deposit and final payment schedules that they were previously on. Visit Carnival.com to see deposit and final payment requirements for all Carnival Cruise Line cruises. Single occupancy reservations will require 200% of the per person deposit but will never exceed the cruise fare.
