Baltimore is getting more cruise options. We already know that the Maryland port is getting its first two-ship season for 2027/2028 with Carnival Pride and Carnival Miracle, but now Carnival is switching things up for the following year.

The cruise line just opened sailings for the 2028/2029 season, and it’s promising even more options and unique sailings for local residents.
The big news in Carnival’s latest announcement is that Carnival Luminosa will be making her Baltimore debut fresh from dry dock, replacing Pride to join Miracle for the port’s second two-ship season.
Carnival is offering itineraries to 22 destinations across the Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada/New England, and the Caribbean.
Carnival Luminosa Makes Her Baltimore Debut
Carnival Luminosa is scheduled to arrive in Baltimore in November 2028 right after a 30-day drydock in Singapore.
Cruisers can expect updated spaces and refreshed amenities across the ship, but we’ll have to wait to see exactly what kinds of things will be updated on board.
She’ll sail a mix of 7- to 14-day itineraries through April 2029:
- Bahamas: 7- and 8-day sailings to spots like Celebration Key, Half Moon Cay (RelaxAway), and Grand Turk.
- Eastern Caribbean: 9-day cruises that include Amber Cove.
- Southern Caribbean: Longer 12- and 14-day Carnival Journeys that dig deeper into the region, with ports such as Aruba, Curaçao, Barbados, Martinique, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Croix, St. Maarten, and St. Thomas.

Carnival Miracle Returns with Even More Options
Carnival Miracle, which is currently sailing out of Galveston, will arrive in Baltimore in November 2027 and stick around for the 2028/2029 season which will run through April 2029.
Here’s what the 2,124-capacity ship will offer:
- Shorter getaways: 6- to 8-day trips to Bermuda and the Bahamas.
- Eastern Caribbean: 9-day sailings calling at Amber Cove, San Juan, and either St. Maarten or St. Thomas.
- Canada & New England: Two 8-day fall foliage cruises in September 2028 with stops in Portland, Maine; Halifax, Nova Scotia; and Saint John, New Brunswick.
- Extended Journeys: Eight 12- to 14-day Carnival Journeys voyages visiting ports including Antigua, Aruba, Barbados, Bonaire, Curaçao, Dominica, Martinique, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, and Tortola.
