Carnival Corp. Has 16 New Cruise Ships Coming Out by 2025

Carnival Corporation is the largest leisure travel company in the world operating nine cruise lines and 105 cruise ships.  Each year, Carnival ships visit more than 700 ports around the world.

Carnival Corporation’s cruise lines have another 16 cruise ships on order or under construction that will debut by 2025. Here is a look the 16 new ships debuting by each cruise line.

Carnival Cruise Line

Carnival Cruise Line currently has the more cruise ships in their fleet (27) than any other cruise line in the world.  Carnival has two new ships on the order block over the next three years including the largest in their fleet.

  • Mardi Gras (2020)  180,000 GT, 5,200 passengers (View Prices)
  • 2nd LNG Powered Ship (2022)  180,000 GT, 5,200 passengers

Princess Cruises

Princess Cruises has grown to become one of the premier cruise lines in the world.  They currently have 18 ships in their fleet with another four on order.

  • Enchanted Princess (2020)  143,700 GT, 3,560 passengers
  • Discovery Princess (2022)  143,700 GT, 3,560 passengers
  • LNG Class Vessel (2023) 175,000 GT, 4,300 passengers
  • 2nd LNG Class Vessel (2025)  175,000 GT, 4,300 passengers

Holland America Line

Holland America Line currently has one cruise ship under construction, their 3rd Pinnacle class ship.

  • Ryndam (2021)  99,000 GT, 2600 passengers

Seabourn

Seabourn is adding two new luxury expedition ships over the next few years.

  • Seabourn Venture (2021)  23,000 GT, 264 passengers
  • Unnamed expedition ship (2022)  23,000 GT, 264 passengers

P&O Cruises

  • Iona (2020)  183,000 GT, 5,200 passengers
  • Unnamed (2022)  183,000 GT, 5,200 passengers

Costa Cruises

  • Firenze (2020) 135,000 GT, 4,200 passengers
  • Toscana (2021)  183,000 GT, 5,200 passengers

Cunard Line

Cunard Line will be adding a fourth ocean liner to their fleet in 2022.

  • TBA (2022) 113,000 GT, 3,000 passengers

AIDA Cruises

AIDA Cruises is Carnival’s brand for the German cruise market.

  • AIDAcosma  (2021)  183,000 GT, 5,400 passengers
  • Unnamed (2023)  183,000 GT, 5,400 passengers

Carnival China

Carnival Corporation also owns 40% of CSSC Carnival Cruise Shipping (Carnival China).  This new company is building two new cruise ships that are based on the Vista class from Carnival.

  • Unnamed (2023)  135,000 GT, 5,000 passengers
  • Unnamed (2024)  135,000 GT, 5,000 passengers
