Carnival Cruise Line also issued the following statement regarding cruises from San Juan: “We recognize that many of you are anxious to hear news on the plans for our San Juan sailings and we wanted to provide you with an update. We currently have a team on the ground in San Juan who have advised that ground transportation and the airport will be operating at a sufficient capacity to support our guests. We are completing an assessment of our cruise terminal; however, we were able to bring Fascination in and out of the port immediately after the storm and are confident that the conditions continue to be safe and suitable for our operations. We are optimistic that we will be able to return to normal operations from San Juan for our planned October 15th cruise. We will be confirming our plans for our San Juan departures on Monday, October 9th at 9:00 AM, including a revised itinerary.

We sincerely apologize for the delay but want to assure you we have been working hard to ensure a safe and positive experience for our guests booked on Carnival Fascination.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.”

  1. What about San Juan on the magic leaving from port Canaveral on February 24th going to Amber cove saint Thomas San Juan and grand Turk. Are we still going to San juan.

  2. What about the intinerary change for Carnival magic on today’s voyage? I’m searching every where to check daughter’s status. It left Port Canaveral Oct 7th and will be crossing the gulf also. They rerouted from Puerto Rico to Mexico. Please give updates on its change as well. Trying to check its status as it crosses the storm tide.
