Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) is launching its annual Cruise Week travel promotion with discounts on over 20 cruise lines. These special cruise deals will run from October 6-13, 2014 on over 200 cruise ships that sail to the Caribbean, Alaska, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Panama Canal, Australia, South American, and the South Pacific.
These offers will be only available through CLIA travel agencies and agents in what is often called the biggest cruise sale of the year. Christine Duffy, CLIA President and CEO, gave the following statement:
“CLIA Cruise Week is an ‘all hands on deck’ promotion designed to reward first-time and frequent cruise travelers with special offers. The promotion is all about the appeal of cruising and the tremendous value of a cruise vacation – not just in price, but in memorable cruise experiences and the ability to visit the world’s most exciting destinations.”
Cruise discounts will range from cheaper fares, discounted shore excursions, onboard credit, beverage packages, free gratuities, and free upgrades. Onboard credits are not be redeemable for cash and certain restrictions may apply to each offer.
American Cruise Line – Departures from March – May 2015 will receive up to $500 in savings per stateroom. Guests will also be entered to win the Signature Service Package.
Carnival Cruise Lines – Low rates, 2 category upgrades, $50 in onboard credit per stateroom, and 50% reduced deposits.
Celebrity Cruises – Book a Celebrity cruise and choose from one of the 3 following offers: Classic Beverage Package for 2, free gratuities, or onboard credit up to $300 per stateroom. Passengers sailing to Europe will be able to choose 2 of the offers.
Costa Cruises – 50% reduced deposits with instant upgrades (inside to oceanview, oeanview to balcony) on all Caribbean sailings.
Crystal Cruises – Call your CLIA cruise agent for offers.
Cunard Line – Call your CLIA cruise agent for offers.
Disney Cruise Line – $1oo in onboard credit on select sailings to the Caribbean on the Disney Fantasy and Disney Magic departing January 3 – March 29, 2015.
Holland American Line – Onboard credit from $25 – $300 on select 2014, 2015, and 2016 sailings. The offers is combinable with other promotions including Explore 4.
MSC Cruises – Free balcony upgrades on select sailings to Europe and the Caribbean. Kids 11 and under sail free and passengers who purchase the Fantastica Experience will receive 12 vouchers for free drinks.
Norwegian Cruise Line – Book any cruise and receive 10% cash back in onboard credit. The credit can be used in the spa, for shore excursions, drinks, and specialty dining.
Princess Cruises – Receive 30% off, plus free gratuities for everyone in the stateroom. Guests who book balcony or higher staterooms will also receive onboard credit.
Royal Caribbean International – Buy one guest, get second guest 50% off. Purchase air accommodations through ChoiceAir and receive an additional 5% off. Cruises on the Quantum of the Seas and Anthem of the Seas are excluded in this promotion.
Silversea Cruises – Receive a 2 category upgrade and $500 per guest in air credit or $500 to spend on shore excursions.
