NCL Continues to Improve Great Stirrup Cay

Norwegian Cruise Line has revealed the newest feature for their private island located in the Bahamas, Great Stirrup Cay.  Private cabana rentals, that hold up to 6 guests, are now available to rent for the entire day.

All day cabana rentals will cost $249 and come with added perks and amenities.  First, guests will enjoy priority tender tickets so you can be one of the first passengers on the island.  When they arrive at their cabana, it will be stocked with bottled water and fruit.

Guests will also receive $50 in credit towards food and beverages while on GSC.  Complimentary floats and all day access to the Hippo water slide are also included. Towels and a private shower are also included in the $249 all day price.

NCL.com states that only one guest will need to reserve the cabana and 5 fellow passengers may join them.

The cabana rentals are the latest features from a $20+ million renovation of the island.  Norwegian was the very first cruise line to own a private island when GSC was purchased back in 1977.  Some of the newly added features include an expanded beach area, new docks and tender bay, new eating facilities, wave runners, kayak tours, new straw market, and an adults only beach.

Great Stirrup Cay is adjacent to Royal Caribbean’s private island, CocoCay.
