It is great how all these cruises are offering free drinks promotion. That is a great way to cool off.
These packages are not free! You can get pricing on cruise only without the “free” perks and save a few hundred dollars off the total price of the cruise. Irresponsible reporting with sensationalism headlines to gain viewers is not good journalism.
Please look at your bill before agreeing. We were looking at a cruise on Norwegian and it offered two things free one being the drink package but at the end looking at the cost there was a 535 dollar charge on there as a service charge.
I cruise on Ncl and is a platinum member. The last 2 cruises were horrible. Food was awful, disembarking horrendous, and the service charge for the beverage package disgusting. Especially when we tip bartender anyway. Also their port and government taxes are higher than other cruise lines. I will be using a different cruise line in the future.
