Man Cruises 1,000 Nights on the Same Cruise Line

This is what Cruise Fever calls a retirement plan done right. Dennis Coleman might not be living on a cruise ship, but he currently spends nearly 1 out of every 4 days of the year at sea.

How many nights could you spend cruising on the same cruise line?  50? 100? 500? Or even a 1,000?  Dennis Coleman of Baltimore, MD recently accomplished that feat when he sailed his 1,000th night on a Carnival cruise ship.

Coleman reached the 1,000 night milestone with Carnival while on board Carnival Sunshine, his 139th cruise with the cruise line.  To mark the occasion, he was given VIP treatment and a model ship in the ceremony.

He took his first cruise in 2003 on Carnival Fantasy and now cruises more than 12 times a year with the cruise line.  He has sailed on every cruise ship in Carnival’s fleet, all 24 Funships.  Coleman is well known on many ships and the crew treat him like family.  Thanks to Doug Parker from Cruise Radio for first reporting about Dennis Coleman’s 1,000th night on Carnival. (Photo Credit: Carnival Cruise Line)
