While virtually all cruise lines offer wedding packages on their cruise ships, that wasn’t enough for one couple who booked an entire ship for their wedding.
Adel Sajan and Sana Khan charted Costa Fascinosa for four nights and invited 1,200 of their family and friends to join them for their wedding that cost $30 million USD. The wedding took place on April 8 while the ship was in Cannes and the ceremony included a gala dinner on the lido deck.
Sajan is the son of a Dubai billionaire who married his high school sweetheart. His father said that the wedding took eight years of planning to make it a unique celebration for the couple and their guests.
Each guest was given a suite or balcony stateroom, along with an inside cabin to use for their personal wardrobe. Visit Emirates Woman for photos and more details on this truly unique wedding.
Costa Fascinosa is a 114,500 gross ton cruise ship that can carry 3,780 passengers. The ship entered service in May 2012 and currently sails in the Mediterranean.
