Anthem of the Seas Voted Most Anticipated New Cruise Ship For 2015

Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas was voted the most anticipated new cruise for 2015 in the 2014 Cruise Fever Fan Awards. This second Quantum Class ship is scheduled to be completed in April 2015.

The Anthem of the Seas will be a 4,900 passenger (maximum occupancy) cruise ship that will be among the largest in the world, only behind the mega Oasis Class.  Being a sister ship to the Quantum of the Seas (voted best new cruise ship in 2014), the vessel will share many of the same innovations and technological advances.

The Anthem of the Seas will sail out of Southampton, England from April until late October before re-positioning to Cape Liberty, New Jersey.

The Norwegian Escape was voted the 2nd most anticipated new cruise ship for 2015.  The Norwegian Escape will feature the largest waterpark and ropes course at sea, as well as the first Margaritaville on a cruise ship.  The ship will begin sailing in the fall of 2015.

Coming in 3rd place was P&O Britannia.  The Britannia will be the largest ship in P&O’s fleet at 142,000 gross tons.  This 3,650 passenger cruise ship promises to be family friendly, combining signature features, modern design, and sophistication.

Voting took place from early 2014 until November 30 on CruiseFever.net.  Each household was allowed one vote as multiple votes from the same IP address were discarded.
