New Staterooms, Suites, & Dining Venues Added to the Oasis of the Seas

Details about deck changes to the Oasis of the Seas are starting to be released as the second largest cruise ship in the world finishes up its time in dry dock in the Netherlands. The Oasis is scheduled to leave dry dock in the next few days and will arrive back in her home in Port Everglades on October 27, 2014.

Detailed changes to each deck were posted on RoyalCaribbeanBlog.com last week.  You can see all of the changes here. The biggest changes to the Oasis are geared towards dining as the ship prepares to change over to Dynamic Dining next spring.

There are over 40 new staterooms and suites being added to the ship including cabin #8279 that will be located right next to the men’s and women’s restrooms.  The Viking Crown Lounge, Pinnacle Lounge, and Pinnacle chapel are all being changed over to new suites and a lounge for suites.

For those who like to shop while at sea, there will be a new Michael Kors and Kate Spade stores opening up replacing Cupcake Cupboard and Focus.  Visit RoyalCaribbeanBlog.com for complete details of the deck changes.

  1. I agree, the viking crown is one of my favourites- looking at the Anthem next year and theirs no mention so I presume their on the way out… 🙁

  2. Very disappointed that they are removing the wonderful Viking Crown Lounge. We love spending time up there, both in the evening, and during the day as well for that incredible view. Also, if they’re removing the chapel, that seems a shame for all the couples getting married or renewing their vows on board, too.
