Carnival Cruise Line Adds New Caribbean Itineraries from Tampa

Carnival Cruise Line has added a pair of new Western Caribbean itineraries out of Tampa, Florida on Carnival Paradise the cruise line announced earlier today.
The two itineraries will each be five days long with the first visiting port tops in Cozumel and Mahogany Bay (Isla Roatan) and the second stopping in the popular ports of Key West and Cozumel.  These two new itineraries have been added to the year round cruise schedule on Carnival Paradise from Tampa, Florida.

There will be a total of 10 Cozumel/Mahogany Bay voyages that will depart Tampa on Saturdays throughout 2017. The new five-day cruises are part of the line’s new Cozumel Plus program that provides guests with additional time in port and features a variety of unique shore excursions – swimming with whale sharks, visiting centuries-old ruins and swimming in hidden caverns, among others — offered both on the island and within mainland Mexico.

Carnival Paradise will continue to offer five day cruises to Grand Cayman and Cozumel that leave on Saturdays and Mondays, as well as shorter four night cruises to Cozumel that depart on Thursdays. View Cruises on Carnival Paradise (5 night cruises start at $269 per person)

Carnival Paradise is a Fantasy class cruise ship from Carnival Cruise Line that entered service in 1998.  This 70,000 gross ton cruise ship can carry 2,000 passengers at double occupancy and offers a great value for budget conscious travelers looking for shorter cruises.

  1. This is very welcome news. I’ve cruised out of Tampa 7 or 8 times…previously on the Inspiration, once on the Paradise. Quite frankly, the last few times, I never bothered to even get off the ship in Grand Cayman. Cozumel of course, is always a great port to visit, and adding Roatan and Key West to these itineraries instead of Grand Cayman adds a bit of sparkle to these 5-day cruises. Would definitely consider cruising on the Paradise again with these itinerary changes.
