Carnival Cruise Line Offering Their First 14 Day Alaskan Cruise From Long Beach

Carnival Cruise Line will be offering their first ever 14 day cruise to Alaska from Long Beach, California in September 2017 on Carnival Miracle that will feature seven amazing destinations that include Glacier Bay and Carnival’s first visit to Icy Strait Point.

This special cruise will take place as part of Carnival’s Journeys cruises and will depart Long Beach on September 2, 2017 and return on September 16, 2017.  Port stops will include:

  • Full day sailing Glacier Bay
  • Icy Strait Point
  • Ketchikan
  • Skagway
  • Juneau
  • Sitka
  • Vancouver

Each of these destinations offers a rich history and culture, along with awe-inspiring natural wonders, including calving glaciers, magnificent fjords and native sea and animal life. A wide range of exciting shore excursions – from helicopter flightseeing and rainforest canopy tours to hiking, canoeing and kayaking expeditions, and alpine lake snorkeling – will be available.

Passengers sailing on this one of a kind voyage will also enjoy special on board experiences where they can sample Alaskan cuisine and enjoy local entertainment and cultural opportunities in the seven port stops on the cruise.

Activities will focus on a broad range of topics.  Everything from photography and cooking to arts and crafts and celestial navigation , there will also be a 1980s-themed “Throwback Sea Day” on board.

In addition to the 14 night sailing on Carnival Miracle, Carnival Legend will offer 38 seven and eight day cruises to Alaska in 2017 and 2018.  There will be seven week long cruises to Glacier Bay where passengers can marvel at majestic glaciers, ice formations, whales, bears, and other wildlife.
