  1. I am planning a cruise for myself and my daughter. She will be 21 the day before we board the ship, can I purchase the Cheers before or do we have to wait until we board the ship??

  2. I don’t understand why Carnival doesn’t introduce the Cheers program on Spirit & Legend in Australia. I have no idea what their rationale may be. It’s ver annoying that we don’t have this choice.

  3. I don’t drink nearly enough to use the Cheers Program. Plus with us having to purchase it for everyone in the cabin it is no good for me or my family that is cruising with me. My husband only drinks one drink a night. I wish they would make a smaller drink package with around 8 drinks a day on it for half the price of the Cheers Pragram. I know Alot of people that would buy the smaller drink package….And allow only the people that will use it in each cabin to buy it. Not everyone in the cabin if they don’t all drink.

  4. I was so excited to see Carnival had made changes to the Cheers Program. Unfortunately the changes do nothing to address the largest request of cruisers.
    1. Stop requiring all adults in a room to purchase.
    2. Offer a 2nd option with fewer drinks at a lower price.

  5. That all sounds nice, but what needs to be changed is the policy that everyone in your cabin must sign up for it. Since my partner doesn’t get one, I am not allowed to. It really sucks!

  6. I’m curious how the Cheers works, we start our 1st ever cruise on July 23rd & return on July 28th. From what I’m understanding you can’t use the cheers program on the 1st day & on the last day 28th your back early in the morning so does that mean you only have to pay for the following days, 24th, 25th 26th & 27th? Just trying to make sense of this to see if it would even be worth the expense. I’m not a big drinker but I’m sure I’ll enjoy some of the specialty drinks & coffee & water drinks!

    Thanks for the info!

  7. It says per day, but the first day when you cruise out of Galveston you don’t get to use it. So do you still have to pay for that day? I will be cruising my first time in June. Cannot wait!!

  8. Do both people in the room still have to sign up for the cheers program? If so this is useless if your spouse or travel partner is a light drinker or doesn’t drink at all.

  9. Regarding the cheers program, is it $49 per person per day or a one time charge of $49 for the length of the trip?

  10. Will be on the ship on that date and have already purchased the cheers card. Does it automatically upgrade on that date?
