We are staying in cabin 5010, a Penthouse Veranda stateroom (PV2) on Viking Sea as we enjoy a 15 day Grand Mediterranean cruise with Viking Cruises. We wanted to give you a glimpse of our stateroom and show you many of the amenities that come with it.
At 338 sq. ft., the cabin is noticeably larger than a standard balcony stateroom. The large couch, and chair offer plenty of comfortable seating. We loved the amount of space on the desk and dresser so our things didn’t feel cluttered. Not pictured is the large closet, we had no shortage of space for all of our clothes.
On each side of the bed is a small table with 2 USB, one 110, and one 220 power outlet.
There are also an additional 5 USB ports on the desk, giving the cabin a total of 9. There are also two 110, and two 220 power outlets.
The mini bar is restocked every day (no charge). You can leave a note in it if you want it filled with all Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite etc.
Since morning coffee is a must, there is a coffee maker in our cabin.
The bathroom has an extremely large, glass enclosed shower (for a cruise ship) and the heated floors are one of our favorite features of the bathroom.
The Freyja bathroom products are restocked as you use them so you’ll never run out. We love the easy to read and open tubes, perfect for when you’re in the shower.
Last but not least, the large balcony has a table and two chairs and is the perfect spot to watch the sunrise as you drink a cup of coffee each morning.
