Royal Caribbean Drops Surcharge at Specialty Restaurant

Royal Caribbean has dropped the surcharge at one of the specialty restaurants on board their newest ship, Quantum of the Seas.

Passengers who wish to dine for lunch or dinner at Devinly Decadence will no longer have to pay a surcharge.  The restaurant will now be complimentary eliminating the surcharge of $15 per person for lunch and $25 per person for dinner.  Breakfast has always been included in cruise fares.

Devinly Decadence was created by “Biggest Loser” celebrity chef Devin Alexander. It offers a healthy alternative as all dishes in the restaurant are under 500 calories.  It is open from 8:00 am – 10:00 am, noon – 1:30 pm, and 6:00 pm – 9:30 pm.

In a day and age when cruise lines are adding more specialty restaurants onboard that come with a surcharge, it is a nice change of pace having one switch over to complimentary.
